Rules, Policies and Information

(Please read carefully and sign on the registration form to agree)

 

  1. Bulla Arts International Inc. is not just a dance academy. We are rather a personality development school using dance, language, journalism, arts, theatre as personality development tools for young people.
  2. Our session starts in September every year and ends in June-July the following year.
  3. Our Annual Talent Show is usually in early July every year.
  4. The dance classes could be off on STAT holidays/ long weekends. Fee package is based on season NOT number of hours attended.
  5. If a student decides to leave within four weeks after the session start date prorated tuition refund can be done with $25 dollars refund fee. No refunds will be done after 4th week of classes.
  6. We focus on overall physical and mental development of our students.
  7. Every group dances once a week and class length is 60 minutes.
  8. We prefer NOT to change time table very often but sometimes due to unknown circumstances, we might have to make a few changes. Please be flexible to change.
  9. Make up classes will be offered only in case Bulla Arts cancels classes due to some reason.
  10. All our teams are branded with unique names and categories. Please make sure you and your kids know about their team names.
  11. Our main mode of communication is through WhatsApp groups. Kindly make sure you join your kid’s WhatsApp team group. We will also use other communication tools like email, Bulla website, YouTube and social media from time to time to connect with you.
  12. We try to develop teaching skills in senior students by offering them opportunity to teach their juniors. Student teachers are selected on the basis of their interest and teaching ability.
  13. Parents and guardians are NOT allowed to sit in the classes however you will be called into class a few times in the session to see your kids’ progress.
  14. Respect is our top priority. Any offensive remarks, rough language and disrespectful behavior will NOT be tolerated. Staff person has the right to ask you to leave in such a situation.
  15. We also offer some recreational, educational and artistic activities from time to time like workshops, seminars, competitions, tours and other opportunities that you can register your kids for. Keep in touch with Bulla Arts social media pages to know about such events.
  16. Our groups and teams are based on age, skill level, attendance and discipline. Bulla staff has the final say in selection of kids. Staff reserves the right to move kids between the groups to enhance our performance levels.
  17. We encourage healthy competition between and within teams to motivate kids to work hard.
  18. We do not guarantee to provide performance platform to each and every kid however kids normally get chance to perform at various Bulla and Non Bulla events throughout the year depending on their skill level.
  19. We encourage kids to wear our Academy T shirts during practice and other group events which are available at a nominal price.
  20. The team instructors and Coordinators will decide the dress styles and colors in consultation with parents a few months before the Annual Performance. Parents will pay for their kids dresses.
  21. Dance students are expected to come to class in proper dance attire, i.e. athletic shorts/cotton leggings/yoga leggings. JEANS/DENIM SHORTS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
  22. We encourage students to wear indoor gym shoes for comfort and safety while dancing.
